RULES

League Rules

Each League will be made up of 8 players whom will play each other once.

At the end of each season the team that finishes top of the league will be promoted and the bottom two teams will face relegation. The teams which finish second and third will play off against each other and the resulting winner will be promoted also.

Each game will be played within a week period, so the whole league will take 7 weeks to complete and the fixtures shall start from a Monday.

The game time shall be arranged between the two parties via PM, you have 7 days to fufill the fixture

The match shall be played at a random venue and will not be pre determined unless both parties agree

Points shall be allocated as follows,

Win = 3 Points
Draw = 1 Point
Loss = 0 Points
Not Fufilling Fixture = -1

N.B The game is a draw if the fixture is tied before sudden death, once the game goes into sudden death all goals do not count towards the result.

If the game disconnects though the game then it must be replayed instantly, if however there is a disconnection a second time then team who disconnected will be docked 5 points

If a player constanty does not fufill a fixture then they shall be removed from the league

If you are unable to fufill a fixture due to other comitments then please try and rearange the game for a suitable time and let me know.

All game results should be posted on the forum by both parties so there is a less likely chance of cheating, if any cheating is discovered 5 points will be docked.

Merit League Rules

For those teams that are place in the merit league the following rules apply.

There will be an unlimited amount of teams in the league, however you will only play 7 games in line with the other leagues. There will be one game played per week and the same points allocated.

The winner of the merit league will move into the conference with the looser of the conference being moved out of the divisions and into the merit leagues. The teams you play will all be randomly assigned but you will not play the same team twice, other then that the rules are the same as the normal divisional leagues

Game Day Rules

Each game shall be played over a total of 1 series and for a length of 5 minutes, it is the result after the five minutes before overtime that is recorded.

The pitch which will be played on is choosen by the team who is playing at 'home' so they must also host the game.

Once the playoffs are reached the games shall be played over a 3 series match of 5 minute games and the winner of the playoffs will be the winner of the series, overtime goals to count here.

Any captain may be chosen but no more then one sidekick may be used per team e.g. a team of Birdo x 2 & Hammer Brother would not be allowed.

All results should be posted imediatly after the game using the submit results page, both teams should submit the results to avoid any cheating by either party.
